Aaron Barr

Aaron Barr has a diverse work experience in the field of video editing. Aaron is currently working as a Video Editor at Gabb Wireless since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked for almost a decade at Metcom Studios where they had various roles including Video Editor, Project Manager, Motion Graphics Artist, Special Effects Artist, Colorist, Cinematographer, Director, Producer, Gaffer, Grip, and Camera Operator. During their time at Metcom Studios, Aaron developed technical skills such as learning new software and plugins, improving pacing and color correction of videos, creating After Effects motion graphics content, and managing media and data archives. Aaron also acquired business skills such as working with high-profile clients, pursuing new revenue sources, preserving client satisfaction, and improving project estimations. Aaron had a brief stint as an Assistant Editor at HUGEsound in 2017 and worked as a Video Editor at KJZZ in 2008. Aaron started their career with an internship at Savage Pictures from 2007 to 2008.

Aaron Barr attended the University of Utah, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film Study. Aaron completed their education at this institution in 2008.
