Joy Johnson began their work experience in 1994 at JPMorgan Chase, where they worked as a Business Banker until 2005. In this role, they served as an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager, overseeing and growing a portfolio of businesses. Joy then transitioned to working at their own household, starting in 2005, taking on the role of Executive Homemaker. Their responsibilities included managing the household, caring for children, and completing various cleaning and maintenance tasks. In 2016, Johnson joined Frederickson Murri Accounting as a Project Assistant, where they prepared files for tax return preparation, handled client billing, and worked on other assigned projects. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Gabb Wireless as a Customer Support Agent.

Joy Johnson has an Associate of Science degree in Finance from Salt Lake Community College. Joy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
