Melisa Hothem

Melisa (Missy) Hothem is an accomplished executive in the retail sector, currently serving as Regional Vice President of Stores at Gabes since May 2017. In this role, Melisa developed a succession planning HRIS, maintained workforce reporting through UKG Workforce Pro, and led a team responsible for HR support across supply chain, talent acquisition, and legal matters. Melisa's previous positions include Vice President of HR for Talent Management, Senior Director of Human Resources with a focus on training and leadership development, and Director of Strategic Initiatives, among others. Prior experience encompasses significant roles at JCPenney and Gap Inc./Old Navy, where Melisa demonstrated expertise in sales, operations, and customer service. Melisa holds a B.S. in Human Ecology with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising from The Ohio State University and a Master's of Science in Organizational Leadership from Wheeling University.
