John Irvine

John Irvine is a Partner and the Head of Canberra at Gadens, where efforts are focused on delivering optimal outcomes for clients while fostering long-term relationships. With a legal career that includes roles at Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Deacons, and co-founding Trinity Law, John has developed expertise in commercial asset acquisition, business structures, and corporate governance. Currently, John also serves as a Founding Director and Secretary of the Australian Brain Cancer Foundation, dedicated to improving brain cancer outcomes. Additionally, they are a Founding Committee Member of Red Shed CBR, promoting inclusivity in rowing, and a Divisional Council Member for the Property Council of Australia (ACT). John earned a Bachelor of Commerce and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Canberra, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
