Derek Heer

Derek Heer is a highly experienced supply chain professional with a strong background in systems and process optimization. Currently serving as Supply Chain Systems & Process Optimization Manager at GAF since August 2022, Derek has previously held various roles at Medline Industries, LP, where significant achievements included executing regionalization moves that led to substantial annual cost savings. With prior experience as a Supply Chain Optimization Analyst and Supply Planner at American Hotel Register Company, as well as internships in supply chain functions, Derek has a demonstrated ability to analyze production networks, optimize inventory costs, and develop effective reporting tools. Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
