Eric Lagergren

Eric Lagergren is a Principal Statistician at GAF since November 2022, with extensive experience in statistics and data sciences from a 23-year tenure at Mondelēz International. During this time, Eric served as Senior Associate Principal Scientist in both Data Sciences and Global Statistics, spearheading initiatives such as training R&D candidates as Statistical Advanced Users and developing comprehensive curricula and e-Learning modules for process statistics. Eric has successfully applied Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies to enhance product quality and consistency across various brands, including Oreos and Chips Ahoy!, while also contributing to healthier ingredient integration in popular snacks. Eric holds a B.S. in Computational Mathematics from Rochester Institute of Technology and both a Ph.D. and M.S. in Applied Statistics from the University of California, Riverside.
