Mark McAteer

Mark McAteer has over 25 years of experience in operations and sustainability within GAF, where responsibilities have included roles such as Director of Operations Sustainability, Plant Manager, Production Manager, and Quality Engineering Manager. In the current position, Mark leads sustainability initiatives across all GAF Operations, driving improvements in energy, water, and waste management while collaborating with cross-functional teams across 31 sites to meet corporate sustainability goals. Previously, as Plant Manager, Mark ensured comprehensive site management, achieving significant safety records, including over 16 years without a lost time injury. Mark's career at GAF began as an hourly production associate, culminating in various managerial roles. Mark earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Winthrop University.
