Martin DeBono

Martin DeBono leads GAF Energy and is responsible for executing its mission of driving energy from every roof through the adoption of solar roofing.

Prior to his current role, Martin held a number of roles with Sunpower, a leading solar, storage, and energy services provider, serving as President of SunPower Capital, a member of the executive team, and leading SunPower’s North American residential solar business and their global distributed generation business. Previously, Martin served as Director of Sales for the Americas for Cisco Consumer Products, and Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Pure Networks prior to the company’s acquisition by Cisco. Martin also served in the U.S. Navy as an officer on a nuclear submarine.

Martin holds a BS from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from Harvard University.
