Stephen Childs is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the roofing industry. Currently serving as a Low Slope Product and Systems Test Engineer III at GAF since December 2022, Stephen previously held multiple roles at OMG Roofing Products, including Technical Services Manager and Codes/Approvals Support Engineer from April 2017 to November 2022. Earlier in his career, Stephen worked as a Product Configuration Analyst at Brockway Smith Company from January 2001 to 2012, where responsibilities included managing cost spreadsheets and programming sales catalogs. Stephen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2014-2016) and an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Greenfield Community College (2012-2014).
