Corey Mitchell

Corey Mitchell has worked in the software engineering field since 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an IT Application Analyst at Principal Financial Group, where they led development and maintenance on payroll systems for the enterprise using Oracle Peoplesoft and Java. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Software Engineer at Useful Networks, where they designed and developed features for location-based consumer web applications using Java. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Epoch.com, where they focused on architecture, design, and implementation of new systems and new facets of legacy systems. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Lead Software Engineer at Viant Technology, where they created tools to enable sales teams, product teams, business intelligence teams, and clients to view, analyze, and manipulate their massive data sets into meaningful insights and information. Since 2018, they have been a Principal Engineer at Gaia Inc., where they are in charge of billing operations and acquisitions and oversees the billing and subscription management for 500,000 customers. Corey develops innovative features for customers and administrators to manage subscriptions, and ensures accurate on-time billing and customer data.

Corey Mitchell attended Iowa State University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science.
