Blake Walker

Blake Walker has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Blake currently serves as the General Counsel for Gala, where they oversee the legal department and advises the CEO and COO on technology, entertainment, and gaming matters. Prior to Gala, Blake was the General Counsel of Entertainment for the same company, focusing on building entertainment ventures on the blockchain.

Before joining Gala, Blake worked as an Attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP and as an Entertainment Attorney at HERTZ LICHTENSTEIN YOUNG & POLK LLP. Blake also has experience in business development and marketing as a Business Development Manager at Steinberg Management International, Inc. and in legal matters as a Legal Associate at NBCUniversal Media, LLC.

Additionally, Blake had a role in public relations with the Phoenix Suns, where they worked as a Basketball Communications Public Relations Liaison, assisting with media relations and overseeing interviews and media sessions.

Blake Walker attended Pepperdine University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Journalism. Blake then pursued a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies/Journalism at Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication from 2012 to 2013. Finally, Blake completed their education at USC Gould School of Law from 2015 to 2018, obtaining a Doctor of Law - JD degree.
