Lead Server Engineer at Gala Games

Tim Webb has had an extensive work experience spanning over a decade. Tim started their career in 2011 as a Pipeline Engineer at Hawaii Animation Studios where they were responsible for R&D of a system to deploy assets to Azure for rendering in the cloud for the TCAAP partner program. Later, Tim worked as a Game Developer (Generalist) at Koa Ring Studios, Director of Technology at uMinca, and Sr. Solutions Architect at Servco Pacific Inc. During their tenure at Servco Pacific Inc., they designed system interfaces to transfer and transform data between third party dealer management systems, custom internal applications, and a third party distribution system. Further, they managed development projects, evaluated outsource partners, and oversaw R&D and proof of concept projects for new tools and technologies. Tim has also worked as an SQL Systems Analyst at TEKsystems, a Contract Game Developer (Technical) at Koa Ring Studios, and a Lead Game Server Engineer at Six Foot. Tim joined HTX Labs in 2019 as a Director of Product Development, responsible for overseeing product development process. Later, they became Vice President of Engineering and Technology, leading a team of developers and providing SME level support for over 100 ASP. NET, ColdFusion, and C# applications across multiple industries. Tim joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022 as a Sr. Partner Solutions Architect for Game Technology. In 2023, they joined Gala as a Sr. Server Engineer.

Tim Webb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2022.
