Wayne Lam possesses extensive experience in software engineering and development, currently serving as Vice President and Software Engineer at Galaxy since May 2021. Previously, Wayne held the position of Research Assistant - Data Science at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, where research focused on dyslexia detection using Convolutional Neural Networks. Prior to this, Wayne worked as a Blockchain Developer Evangelist at R3, where responsibilities included developing proofs of concept and leading developer initiatives in the APAC region. Wayne's earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Purecomm Retail Software, leading a team to develop an omni-channel order management system and integrating client systems. Additionally, Wayne contributed to telecommunications and data center projects as a Software Engineer at Teamup Technology Limited. Wayne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
