Ather Islam

Ather Islam serves as the IT Director for Infrastructure, Operations & Services at Galderma since January 2023. Prior to this, Ather held various leadership roles at Hitachi Energy, including Global Manager for the EUC Product Group, and spent over two decades at ABB Information Systems, where responsibilities included managing digital workplace strategies, overseeing end user support services for over 140,000 users, and leading significant global transformation programs. Ather's extensive experience spans multiple regions, including South Asia and Sub-Sahara Africa, and includes technical positions at companies such as IBM Zimbabwe and SASTEK South Africa. Ather's education features multiple certificates in Applied Machine Learning and Data Science from EPFL, complemented by a National Diploma in Business Computer Programming from Bulawayo Polytechnic.
