Kat M.

Kat M. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kat most recently worked as a Senior Product Designer at Galileo, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Product Designer at Weights & Biases from January 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they led design initiatives and partnered with engineering and product leads to improve retention, launch a design system, and enhance UX and accessibility for data visualization.

Before joining Weights & Biases, Kat served as a UI/UX Designer & Front-end Developer at Index Solutions from September 2019 to January 2021. Here, they led the design and development of a virtual assistant for attorneys, collaborating closely with co-founders and product managers.

From July 2014 to September 2019, Kat worked at BrightCrowd as a UI/UX Designer & Front-end Developer, contributing to the successful launch of a profitable B2B SaaS product for elite clients such as Stanford University, Princeton, and McKinsey & Associates. Kat worked closely with co-founders, product managers, and engineers to deliver pixel-perfect designs in iterative sprints.

Prior to that, Kat worked as a Designer at Pedal Power NYC from February 2013 to May 2014, where they redesigned project sites on Wordpress and created graphic assets for marketing and fundraising purposes.

Kat's career started as a Studio Assistant at Dustin Yellin from July 2010 to September 2012.

Kat M. attended Wake Forest University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Studio Art.
