Tao Wang is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Kawin Technology, where they contributed to the company’s success in securing Pre-Series A funding in June 2025. They are also the Founder of a stealth peptide startup and serve as a Professor at Sun Yat-sen University. Previously, Tao held the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb from 1998 to 2021, focusing on virology, immuno-oncology, and drug development. Additionally, Tao has been a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Galixir since 2023 and completed postdoctoral research at Columbia University from 1996 to 1998. They hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry from New York University and a Bachelor's degree from Peking University.
