Daniel Simpson Jr.

Daniel Simpson Jr. has extensive experience in financial management and tax services, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and previously as Controller at Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, A PLC since September 2013. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Senior Manager - Tax Services at LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors from September 2006 to September 2013, and served as Senior Tax Specialist at Entergy from April 2001 to September 2006. Daniel began their career as a Senior Tax Associate at Arthur Andersen & Co. from July 1997 to April 2001. Daniel earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where studies were completed from 1993 to 1997, and graduated from Holy Cross School with a High School Diploma in 1993.
