With origins dating back over 70 years, Gambaro’s journey began in 1953 when the late Giovani Baptista Gambaro opened the first establishment on Caxton Street, Brisbane, after immigrating from Italy. For more than three generations, Gambaro has been a pioneer in Brisbane’s hospitality scene, with expansion now reaching the Gold Coast.

What started as a humble fish and chip shop has evolved into a successful restaurant business, consistently offering guests a five-star experience.
