About Us
In Nigeria, GambleAwareNG is the top independent and strategic advocate for prevention, early intervention, education, and treatment related to gambling harm. Our goal is to protect people against the negative effects of gambling.

Campaign
We create nationwide campaigns on gambling’s health impacts and support local partners to raise awareness on mental and physical risks, and boosts community involvement. We coordinate efforts that improve responses to gambling-related health challenges, increase risk understanding, build trust, and strengthen local support services.

Player support
In addition to our Gambler Helpline, which receives over 5,000 calls annually and provides immediate, confidential support, we offer free, private treatment services for individuals affected by gambling. These services include one-on-one counselling with trained professionals, support groups, and tailored recovery programs that focus on building healthier behaviors, financial stability, and emotional well-being. Our goal is to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their gambling and support them throughout their journey toward recovery.

Research
We are committed to deeply understanding the multifaceted impacts of gambling—ranging from individual mental health challenges to broader social and economic consequences that affect families and entire communities. Our work is grounded in rigorous, evidence-based research that explores the psychological, behavioral, and societal dimensions of gambling-related harm. Through this research, combined with proactive advocacy and tailored support services, we aim to reduce the risks and consequences of harmful gambling.

Vision
To promote responsible gaming and provide support for individuals going through gambling harm
