Dan Riley is an experienced research professional currently serving as Senior Research Lead for Communications & Policy at GambleAware since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading research programmes and managing third-party studies. Prior to this, Dan held positions at Kantar Public as Research Lead for Advertising & Brand and as Research Manager, overseeing UK government communications projects. Experience as Senior Research Executive at Bryter involved healthcare and pharmaceutical research, while earlier roles included data management at GlaxoSmithKline and research assistance at the University of Sussex, focusing on neuroimaging and Alzheimer’s research. Dan holds a Master of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Sussex, along with a Marketing Week Mini MBA.

GambleAware is an independent, grant-making charity commissioning prevention and treatment services across England, Scotland and Wales to keep people safe from gambling harms.
