Sam Guttman

Sam Guttman has extensive work experience in the field of fraud prevention and financial crimes investigations. Sam started their career at the US Postal Inspection Service in 1999, where they served as an Inspector in Charge and later as the Assistant Inspector in Charge for Digital Evidence. During this time, they developed the agency's forensic investigative efforts and testified as an expert witness for computer crimes and digital evidence in federal court proceedings.

In 2005, Sam transitioned to the role of Assistant Inspector General Investigations at USPS - OIG, before moving on to become the CEO of FraudSolvers LLC in 2007. At FraudSolvers LLC, they played a leadership role in the company as CEO.

Simultaneously, Sam also worked as the Director of Fraud Prevention at GameFly Inc., where they were responsible for developing strategies to prevent fraud in the gaming industry. In 2011, they took on a volunteer position as the Chairman of the DFCB Advisory Committee at the Digital Forensics Certification Board, where they played a key role in the development and launch of their certification program.

In 2015, Sam became the International President of the IAFCI - International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators, a position they held until 2018. Currently, they serve as the International Chairman of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.

Throughout their career, Sam has demonstrated expertise in fraud prevention, digital forensics, and financial crimes investigations, making him a valuable asset in the field.

Sam Guttman earned a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice / Computer Forensic Investigations from the University of New Haven, graduating in 2003.
