Kamar Burke's work experience starts with their current role as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at Gamelancer Media, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded JoyBox Media in 2020, where they worked with creators and brands to create original content and viral campaigns on TikTok. Before launching JoyBox Media, they were a co-founder of 100 Collective from February 2019 to April 2023.

In 2017, Kamar worked as a freelance video editor and videographer for Universal Music Canada (Public Records), where they shot, edited, and directed music videos and created visual social media campaigns. Kamar also served as a creative director and storyteller for their artists.

From 2015 to 2019, they owned and served as the creative director of KB Kutz, where they created content for reputable brands and influencers, focusing on unique storytelling.

In 2013, Kamar founded DIPP Basketball Academy, where they handled day-to-day operations, acted as the head trainer, organizer, and business developer. Over the course of three years, the academy grew to 150 kids.

Additionally, Kamar played professional basketball for the Moncton Miracles in the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL) during 2012 and 2013. Kamar helped lead the team to the semifinals, received an Allstar designation, and was placed on the All Canadian second team.

Kamar Burke obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The University of British Columbia, where they attended from 2009 to 2012.
