Tom McDowell

Tom McDowell is currently the Head of Black Library at Games Workshop Ltd, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Tom served as Head of Communications for the International Tennis Federation from January 2020 to August 2021 and as Head of Communications for the Rugby Players Association from June 2016 to December 2019. Tom has experience as a Writer & PR Consultant while self-employed from May 2015 to May 2016, contributing to various projects in the UK and US, including writing for Nickelodeon’s animated series Digby Dragon, which received a BAFTA nomination. Tom's earlier career at Sky spanned nearly nine years, during which time responsibilities included Head of PR for Programmes, PR Manager, Senior Editor, Editor, and Assistant Editor. Tom holds a degree in English Literature from Newcastle University.
