Andy Janata has worked in the software engineering field since 2005. Andy began their career as a Computer Lab Support at The University of Akron in 2005. In 2009, they became a Staff Programmer at The Equity Engineering Group, where they developed a four-tier application in C# for oil refinery inspection management, fitness for service, and risk-based inspection software. In 2010, they moved to Google as a Software Engineer. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at DeVero, Inc., where they developed and maintained a scalable, multi-tenant, browser-based SaaS health care charting software in AWS. Andy also provided on-call support for production issues and developed an enhanced highly-redundant audit log system utilizing Kinesis, RabbitMQ, and DynamoDB. In 2018, they moved to Gametime United as a Senior Software Engineer.
Andy Janata graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Akron in 2008.
