Andrew Walker

Andrew Walker is the Head of Business Development at Gameye. Andrew has over 6 years of experience in the gaming industry and has held various positions in business development and management.

Walker started their career at Gameforge in 2016 as the Director of Business Development. In this role, they were responsible for leading the group that managed all pitch/game evaluations and ran the contracting process for all new partnerships bringing PC Free2Play games to market. Andrew also worked closely with the CEO, Executive Board members, and stakeholders in the product development and marketing groups to craft the business case to move forward on profitable opportunities.

In 2019, Walker left Gameforge to join Gameye as the Head of Business Development. In this role, they are responsible for leading the business development team and overseeing all aspects of the department. Andrew is also responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow the company and expand its partners.

Prior to joining Gameye, Walker was a Partner at GameFounders, where they were responsible for recruiting studios to participate in the Seed Fund Accelerator program and co-managing the fourth round of seed investment into eight different studios from six different countries. Andrew also presented studios to investors through demo days in Tallinn, Helsinki, Malmo, and San Francisco.

Walker is a experienced business advisor and has provided guidance for studio heads on a range of topics from user acquisition and business development to game production issues. Andrew has also devised and executed China-focused strategies, selecting Chinese publishing partners for three portfolio developers.

Andrew Walker completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow.
