Roberto Sasso

Roberto Sasso has extensive experience in the tech industry. Roberto began their career in 2011 as a Tech Lead at CRIF S.p.a., where they were in charge of designing architectures and writing core parts. Roberto then moved to YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP in 2012 as a Software Architect, where they were part of the engineering team in charge of replatforming Yoox.com and was the technical leader for the launch of Yoox China. In 2015, they became the CTO of PizzaBo, which was acquired by Rocket Internet for 51mln EBITDA and later merged and acquired by Just Eat in 2016. In 2018, they became a Shareholder at Cube Controls, which was named one of the Top 100 Italian Consumer Companies in Europe in 2021. Roberto also became an Ambassador and Mentor at TechItalia, the largest Italian Accelerator in London, and an Interim CTO at Orkestro, a cloud last-mile delivery service. In 2019, they became a Transformation and Innovation Top Management Consultant at SONICJOBS, where they were the author of the Robotic Processing Automation. In 2020, they became an Interim CTO and Advisor at Uhubs, which was named a Startup Awards Finalist in 2022 and one of the Top 100 Startups in the UK in 2021. Finally, in 2022 they assumed the role of CTO at Gameye.

Roberto Sasso studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Technology Institute Matera (ITIS). Roberto also holds a Codility Silver Certificate Omega 2013, which they obtained in February 2013.
