Jeff Miles

Overseas Technical Director at GAMIT

Jeff Miles has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jeff started their career as an Apprentice at Rolls Royce in 1966. Jeff then worked at FLS Stansted for 24 years, starting as an Aircraft Mechanic and progressing to the role of Base Operations Manager. At FLS Stansted, they managed all aspects of preplanning, check process, and delivery to budgets, as well as overseeing a team of 230 permanent employees and up to 150 contractors.

After FLS Stansted, Jeff worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager at FR Aviation, specializing in Military and Civil Aircraft. Jeff was responsible for three hangars and the flight line, overseeing a workforce of 150 engineers and contract staff.

Following their time at FR Aviation, Jeff held the position of Engineering Superintendent at Marshall Aerospace on a temporary basis. Jeff also served as the Base Engineering Manager at MK Airlines, managing B747s and DC8s, as well as overseeing line operations in Europe.

Prior to their current role, Jeff served as the Technical Services Manager at Gamit from 2010 to 2011. Jeff is currently working as the Overseas Technical Director at Gamit Ltd. Overall, Jeff Miles has a wealth of experience in technical and managerial roles within the aviation industry.

Jeff Miles attended Boys Secondary School from 1961 to 1966, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time.
