Daniel Schimmel

Principal Engineer, Engine Performance at Gamma Technologies

Daniel Schimmel has extensive work experience in the field of engine performance. Daniel started their career as a Project Engineer at FEV GmbH in 2007, where they worked on gasoline powertrain projects until 2010. In 2010, they joined Gamma Technologies, LLC as a Project Engineer in the Engine Performance department. Daniel was promoted to Senior Engineer in 2012 and then to Staff Engineer in 2015. In their roles at Gamma Technologies, they were responsible for providing technical solutions to engine performance challenges, serving as a subject matter expert for GT-POWER and GT-POWER-xRT, and leading real-time engine modeling projects for SiL, MiL, and HiL applications. Daniel also focused on customer support, training, software development, and testing.

Daniel Schimmel obtained a degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) from RWTH Aachen University, completing their studies in 2007 and earning the title of Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.).
