Vinit Kumar has a strong background in automotive engineering and has worked in various roles in the field. VINIT started their career at General Motors in 2011, where they worked as a Senior Engineer and later as a Lead Engineer in Powertrain CAE. In these roles, they built system-level models, conducted noise and vibration analysis, and performed ERP/sound power analysis. VINIT also analyzed engine mount response to engine imbalance forces and input torque. In 2019, Vinit joined Tata Consultancy Services as a Technical Lead, focusing on noise and vibration analysis for electric and IC engine powertrain components in automotive. VINIT also worked on building and analyzing system-level models of battery electric vehicle plant models. Currently, Vinit is a Senior Application Engineer at Gamma Technologies, starting in 2022.
Vinit Kumar completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Systems Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, which they completed in 2011.
