David Heaps

David Heaps is an experienced corporate development leader with a strong background in the communications and software industries. Currently serving as the Group Corporate Development Director at Gamma since October 2018 and as an Independent Consultant at Phasecast since 2017, David specializes in corporate strategy, business planning, and M&A. Previously, David held key positions at CSG International as SVP Corporate Strategy, where corporate strategy and strategic initiatives were driven across various software and services, and at Intec Telecom Systems PLC as Chief Product and Strategy Officer, overseeing corporate and product strategy leading to a successful acquisition by CSG. Early career roles include Senior VP and General Manager of Network Solutions at ADC, and co-founding Metrica where key contributions were made to the company’s growth and eventual sale to ADC. David's educational credentials include an International Executive Programme from INSEAD, an MSc in Computing Science from Imperial College London, and an MA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
