Ian MacPhee

Ian MacPhee has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ian started their career in 2004 as an Installation Engineer at HF COMMS, where they gained experience in GSM/3G networking and transmission equipment. In 2005, they became a Project Engineer on the H3G Microwave Installation Contract, where they played a key role in coordinating the installation of microwave links. Later on, in 2005, they joined Gamma as an IPT Support Engineer and worked their way up to become the Head of Product Engineering. Throughout their career, Ian has held various roles such as VoIP Engineer, Voice Application Services Manager, and Head Of UCaaS Engineering.

Ian MacPhee pursued their education from 2000 to 2003 at Glasgow Caledonian University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During this period, they focused on Digital Signal Processing, Networked Multimedia, and Electro-Mechanical Condition Monitoring.

Afterward, from 2006 to 2011, Ian attended Cisco for further education, earning a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) degree. No specific field of study was mentioned for this certification.
