GAMS Belgium (Group for the Abolition of Female Genital Mutilation) was founded in 1996 by Khadidiatou Diallo.

Our objective? To contribute to the abandonment of female genital mutilation in Belgium and Worldwide.

GAMS offers a reception, orientation (medical-psychosocial and legal) and psycho-social support service if necessary according to the situation, needs and requests of the people. GAMS receives persons concerned by FGM, forced marriages and other types of gender violence, in asylum procedure, outside asylum procedure (illegal residence), recognised refugees, regularised refugees, who have come to Belgium through family reunification or other means.
