Jamal Abdullah

Jamal Abdullah has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jamal currently holds the position of Head of Research & Development Design Innovation at GAMUDA LAND since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager at Sunway Property from September 2014 to May 2021. Jamal also have experience as a Project Architect at 3DReid Ltd from January 2013 to September 2014 and as an Architect at Hayball from June 2009 to October 2012. Jamal began their career as a Graduate Design Architect at Mirvac from May 2007 to June 2009. Jamal also worked as a Draftperson/Architectural Student at CUBE 8 STUDIOS PTY LTD/A. GENSER & ASSOCIATES PTY LTD from April 2006 to May 2007. Before entering the field of architecture, Jamal worked as a Chef Garde Manger at Carlton Crest Hotel from June 2003 to April 2006. Jamal also has experience in visual merchandising and interior design, having worked at Nike Singapore from June 1996 to April 2001 and as a Fashion Visual Merchandiser at FJ Benjamin Holdings LTD from June 1993 to May 1996.

Jamal Abdullah has a diverse education history. Jamal obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Architecture from RMIT University from 2003 to 2005. Jamal then pursued a Diploma of Business Management at St. George Institute in Australia from 2006 to 2007. In addition, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from RMIT University from 2001 to 2003 and a Diploma in Interior Design from LASALLE College of the Arts from 1998 to 2000. Prior to these studies, they completed a Certificate Course in Interior Design at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts from 1994 to 1996. Furthermore, they gained expertise in Commercial Cookery by earning a Certificate III in Hospitality from AOI Institution in 2006.
