Ummu Athiyyah is a qualified Civil Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree with Honours from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Beginning a career as a Trainee at Gamuda Berhad under the Skim Latihan 1 Malaysia (SL1M), Ummu was subsequently seconded to MMC Gamuda KVMRT PDP SSP in the Quality Management Department. Following this, Ummu served as a QA Engineer at MMC-Gamuda, overseeing quality management for the KVMRT2 project, specifically for sections involving multiple viaducts and stations. Having held internships at Wama Bina Enterprise and Dhaya Maju LTAT Sdn Bhd, Ummu currently works as a Senior Engineer - QA/QC on the Upper Padas HydroElectric Project at GAMUDA, with previous experience as a QAQC Executive cum Engineer on the Klang Valley Double Track project.
