Ashley Hixon

Ashley Hixon has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare industry. Ashley is currently the CEO of GAP-FLEX Inc / Xeras Medical Technologies since December 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Int. CEO at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital for four months in 2016. From 2011 to 2015, Ashley was the Division Operating Officer at Methodist Healthcare System. Ashley also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Methodist Texsan Hospital from 2012 to 2013. Before that, they served as the COO at Northeast Methodist Hospital from 2004 to 2011 and Metropolitan and Northeast Methodist Hospitals from 2004 to 2007. Earlier in their career, they worked as the COO at Westside Regional Medical Center from 2003 to 2004 and as an Assistant Administrator at St. Mark's Hospital from 2000 to 2002.

Ashley Hixon completed their undergraduate education at Hollins University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a degree in Spanish with a focus on pre-med. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University from 1998 to 2000.
