Thimal Kumarasinghe

Thimal Kumarasinghe is an experienced technology professional currently serving as an Associate Tech Lead at Gapstars and a Software Engineer at Stekz since February 2023. Previously, Kumarasinghe held the position of Technical Lead at Aventude from May 2022 to February 2023, and worked at Ziphio as an Associate Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer specializing in Data Science from January 2020 to May 2022. Kumarasinghe began a career at JLanka Power and Energy (Pvt) Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer Project Lead from January 2018 to December 2019, following an internship as a Research and Development Engineer at JLanka Technologies from July 2016 to January 2017. Kumarasinghe obtained an Honors degree in BSc Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Moratuwa between 2014 and 2018, and attended the Institute of Software Engineering, Sri Lanka from September 2012 to September 2013, with foundational education completed at Taxila Central College, Horana from January 1999 to August 2012.
