Before joining thatgamecompany, Chris Bell served as the Lead Game Designer and Writer at Giant Sparrow from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Game Designer and Producer at thatgamecompany from 2011 to 2012.
Chris started their career as a Designer and Producer at Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they also had an internship at The Stupid Fun Club, where they designed and prototyped multiple projects. Chris Bell π attended the University of Florida from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design and Art History. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Entertainment Technology (MET) degree in Interactive Experience Design at Carnegie Mellon University.
