Amy Ewing is an Offshore Geotechnical Engineer at Gardline Limited, where responsibilities include compiling factual interpretations of CPT and core logs and performing data processing and soil descriptions. Previously, as an Offshore Geophysicist, Amy provided quality control and provisional interpretation of shallow marine geophysics. Amy holds a Master's degree in Applied Marine Geoscience from Bangor University, achieving a Distinction, and completed a thesis on the stratigraphy of Llyn Idwal under the supervision of Dei Huws and Richard Bates. Additionally, Amy has experience as a Research Assistant in the DETEST research group, focusing on tidal proxies, and gained practical skills as an Intern involved in the analysis of tidal rhythmites. Amy earned a Bachelor's degree in Geological Oceanography, graduating with First-Class Honours. Past work experience also includes roles in customer service and hospitality.
