Alan Wu is an Advanced Strategic Sourcing Engineer at Garmin since March 2022, specializing in the sourcing of metal parts through techniques such as forging, lathe work, stamping, die-casting, and extrusion. Responsibilities include negotiating pricing, contracts, payment terms, and capacity with suppliers to ensure optimal benefits for the company. Prior to Garmin, Alan served as a Strategic Procurement Technical Manager at 緯創資通 from May 2006 to March 2022, demonstrating expertise in cost breakdown for plastic and metal materials while managing a substantial budget and achieving significant annual cost savings.
