Ben C.

Ben C. has extensive experience in engineering and product management, beginning with an Engineering Assistant role at the Seattle Department of Transportation from May 2003 to August 2004. After a tenure as a Mechanical Engineer at Marine Autonomous Systems Engineering from September 2005 to August 2006, Ben transitioned to a professional triathlete career from January 2006 to December 2017. In this period, Ben also founded Ben's Muffins, serving as Product Manager from January 2016 to December 2018. Ben held positions as a Product Management Intern at SRAM, LLC from November 2014 to November 2015, and as Senior Associate at Dimensional Fund Advisors from February 2018 to October 2020, before becoming a Senior Product Manager at Garmin in October 2020. In addition, Ben served as Board Treasurer for USA Triathlon from January 2015 to December 2022 and worked as an Independent Consultant from January 2016 to February 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University and an MBA from The University of Chicago - Booth School of Business, along with a certificate from General Assembly in 2020.
