Dane Oleson is an accomplished electrical system architect and product manager known for their expertise in bridging the gap between customer needs and technical solutions. They began their career as an undergraduate researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institut, where they developed hardware and software for the Large Hadron Collider. Following this, Dane worked as an electrical engineer at Tagstand, leading innovative projects in Internet-of-Things technology. They also served as an electrical hardware system integrator and later as an electrical hardware systems architect at Apple before becoming a technical lead at Garmin. Dane holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied Physics at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.
