David Klassen

David Klassen is currently a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Garmin since May 2023. Additionally, David has been self-employed as an Automation Contractor at Klassen Automation, providing technical support for KUKA arm manipulator robots since May 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Maintenance Technician at Harmony Beef Company, where David maintained equipment and addressed unplanned shutdowns, and as a Millwright Apprentice at G&S Airport Conveyor, where David contributed to the construction of airport conveyors and operated various heavy machinery. Earlier work experience also includes a position as a Sales Floor Associate at Strathmore Value Drug Mart. David is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, expected to graduate in April 2025.
