David van Chu

David Van Chu has extensive experience in software engineering and development, currently serving as Team Leader of Software Engineering at Garmin since July 2018, with previous positions as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II. Prior to Garmin, David worked at Dining Alliance as a Salesforce Developer and Salesforce Developer Intern, and gained early experience at Bikeway Source as a Sales/Mechanic. Additional internships included Software Design Intern at Morpho Detection, LLC, and Desktop Support Intern at Dining Alliance. David began their professional journey in sales at Cyclemania and Dunkin Donuts and as a cashier at Wok Inn. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology, as well as studies at Southern Maine Community College and Deering High School.
