Derek Rowland

Derek Rowland is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical and process engineering, currently serving as a Technical Lead Process Engineer at Garmin International since October 2017. Previously, Derek worked as an Electrical Engineer at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, where responsibilities included project execution within the Control Systems Integration team. Prior roles at Honeywell FM&T involved significant leadership in systems engineering and test engineering, managing multi-million dollar projects and establishing consistent project management practices. Early career experiences include engineering internships at Garmin International and Anheuser-Busch InBev, along with an engineering assistant role at Embedded Development Corporation. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
