Jay Everett is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and verification, with a career spanning over two decades. Jay began as a Development Engineer at Ericsson, focusing on software for power component qualification. Transitioning to Sony Ericsson, Jay held roles including Verification Coordinator, Technical Manager, and Functional Area Leader, where responsibilities encompassed hardware and software verification for smartphone projects, team leadership in RF transceiver verification, and full system verification of wireless modules. Since joining Garmin, first as Product and Systems Validation Team Lead and currently as System Validation Team Lead, Jay has managed diverse verification teams to maintain high software quality across multiple product segments, ensuring adherence to certification standards. Jay holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a certificate in Computer Programming from North Carolina State University.
