Jo-Yang Lu

Jo-Yang Lu is an Advanced Software Engineer at Garmin, where they have worked on various teams, including Algorithm Design and Speech Technology, focusing on refining ASR context and implementing new software features. They previously held positions as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they coordinated the delivery of software releases, and as a Bioinformatician at YongLin Health Care Foundation, assessing genetic test validity in Taiwan populations. Jo-Yang also gained research experience as an assistant at NTUCGM and Academia Sinica, developing bioinformatic techniques for cancer studies and designing methods for detecting viral genomes. Jo-Yang earned both an MS in Biomedical Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, achieving high academic honors.
