Sydney Low

Sydney Low, P.Eng, MASc, is currently the Mechanical Engineering Team Lead at Garmin, where they oversee the design and implementation of mechanical biosensor solutions for wearable products. Previously, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Garmin and held various roles, including R&D and QA Assistant at Imaging Dynamics Company and Graduate Research Assistant at Queen's University. Sydney earned both an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Biomechanical Option and a Master's of Applied Science in Biomechanical Engineering from Queen's University, with a notable focus on prosthetic foot performance and design. They also gained teaching experience as a Course Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant during their academic tenure.
