Michael Opels

Michael Opels, DBIA™, is a Regional Operations Manager at Garney Construction, where they also serve as a Senior Project Manager. They previously held the title of Project Manager and Area Manager at the same company. Michael began their career as an Assistant Project Manager at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and continued as a Project Manager at KCI Construction Company from 2012 to 2017. They earned a BS in Technical Resource Management with a focus on Environmental Studies from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an AAS in Construction Management from John A. Logan College.
