Jean Schaffer

Jean Schaffer is the President/CEO of Verity Insight and former Chief Information Security Officer of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). As a consultant, she brings strategic and technical expertise, an understanding of the IC and DoD, and a wealth of experience to assist industry and the Government in delivering solutions having been employed by the DIA for over 30 years. In this position, she had direct responsibility for all Agency networks, infrastructure, information systems, storage, information assurance, cyber defense, IT help desk and services/support across the Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) on unclassified and classified domains. She has a proven track record for developing transformational digital solutions to large organizations’ most critical IT problems, automating, and institutionalizing those solutions.
