Adrian Metlenko

Adrian Metlenko has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Adrian started their career as a Marketing Intern at Stylist Lab in 2014. Adrian then founded Chitter Media Productions in the same year, where they worked as a Videographer, Designer, and Founder until 2021. Adrian joined St. Vladimir's ROCOR in 2008 as a Support Specialist and DBA, a role they held for nearly a decade. In 2010, they moved to Database Solutions and worked as a Database Developer until 2018. Adrian also worked at Smartbox Archive Systems as a Data Processing & Maintenance Specialist from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Bench as a Data Specialist and transitioned to a Data Analyst role in 2019. Currently, Adrian is employed at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research as a Developer since 2019, starting as a Junior Developer and progressing to their current role.

Adrian Metlenko has a diverse education history. From 2008 to 2013, they attended Waverley College, where they completed their HSC. During this time, they studied Extension Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Studies, Russian Studies, Advanced English, and Religion.

In 2014, Adrian enrolled in Macquarie University and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with Honours in the field of Software. Concurrently, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Russian Studies at the same university. Adrian completed both degrees in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Adrian has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Adrian received a Problem Solving (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank in September 2020. Adrian also completed several courses on React.js, including "Learning React.js" and "React.js Essential Training" from LinkedIn in October 2020. Adrian further expanded their expertise by obtaining certifications in software architecture and full-stack site creation using React from LinkedIn in November 2020. Additionally, Adrian acquired proficiency in TypeScript through a certification from LinkedIn in August 2021. Prior to this, in November 2017, they completed a course on Programming Foundations: Design Patterns offered by Lynda.com. Furthermore, in January 2017, they completed a series of courses on iOS App Development: Essential Courses from Lynda.com. Lastly, in June 2014, Adrian obtained a certification in Relational Database Design with FileMaker Pro from lynda.com.
